For Sugar Coating:

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line muffin tin with foil or paper baking cups.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix softened butter, sugar, and egg. Add in the dry ingredients a little at a time alternately with the milk.
Once the mixture is well blended, spoon into lined muffin tin and bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
For Sugar Coating:
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together. Melt butter in a separate bowl.
Once the muffins are cool enough to handle, gently remove the baking cup from each muffin.
Roll each muffin in the melted butter and then cinnamon/sugar. Set muffins back in baking cups.
