Ingredients
1tablespoonolive oil
1/4cupchopped onion
2clovesgarlic, crushed
1teaspoonground cumin
215 ouncecans black beans, drained and rinsed
18 ouncecan tomato sauce
1/4cupvegetable broth, or water
1/2teaspoontable salt
2tablespoonsfresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
Heat oil in a medium size pot over medium heat. Saute onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and cumin and cook an additional 30 seconds.
Add beans, sauce, broth (or water) and salt and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
