Ingredients
18 ouncepackage full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
1/2cupbutter, room temperature
3cupspowdered sugar, measure and then sift.
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/8teaspoonsalt
Instructions
With an electric mixer (hand or standing), cream butter and cream cheese together until light and smooth.
Add sifted powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Begin mixing at a slow speed. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed.
Apply frosting to cake, cupcakes, or cookies.

-Makes enough to thoroughly frost 20 cupcakes (and up to 24) or a 9"x13" cake.-Multiply recipe by 1.5 for 2 layer cake.-Double recipe for a 3 layer cake.
