As a mother of two little girls, much of my time is taken up caring for and playing with them. My husband’s favorite hobby is reading and he has been begging me for years to read all the books he has. His dream finally came true… but I’ve been doing it the cheaters way– audio books!
I’ve only listened to one other audio book in my life and that was on a 10 hour road trip but I wish I had started earlier. I mean, I actually now look forward to doing the dishes and other house work because that means I get to hear more of the story! In one month I’ve
read listened to 3 1/2 books which is embarrassingly more than I read in the last year… or two. And WOW that means I spend a lot of hours cleaning!
What have I read? Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan, Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson, Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson, and Shadows of Self by Brandon Sanderson. Unfortunately, audio books are usually more expensive than the physical copy but I’ve been able to rent them through my local library and download it right to my phone!
Anyway… Hello, amazing Creamy Cajun Pasta with Smoked Sausage! Creamy pasta is my weakness and I always love a good spicy kick that the Cajun seasoning gives this dish. It comes together in use 30 minutes and is packed with flavor. Give it a shot this weekend!
