A lot of us love to cook, but oh, the dreaded clean up after! When cooking you can really make a mess!! My mom always taught me to clean up as I went so it wasn’t a huge mess at the end. But still…  Well, I’m excited to share with you something that has really made clean up in the kitchen so much faster and easier. It has even saved me money! Keep reading to learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen too!I grew up in clean home. Really, my mom should have an award for how clean our home was. I am the last of 5 kids so maybe it’s because I don’t remember there being babies and toddlers around to make giant messes. I’m not nearly as clean and tidy as my mother but I’m getting there with the help of a few simple products– Norwex and my handy dandy hand vacuum.Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

A couple years ago I was introduced to Norwex and it has really changed the way I clean. I am able to keep my kitchen and home more clean with less effort and NO chemicals. How cool is that?! No more worrying about chemical residue still on the high chair or the kids finding and drinking a bottle of a life threatening chemical under the kitchen sink.

AMAZING!!!! TAKE ME TO THE PARTY!!!!!

Also, since the cleaning isn’t done with chemicals, that means it’s safe for my kids to clean! Yay! All that’s needed is a rag and water. My daughter has actually enjoyed cleaning, especially when she gets to do it along side me. Not only am I helping her develop great work ethic but it’s also a time I get to talk, be silly, and just connect with her while getting a necessary chore done. Win-Win-Win!

How does it work? How is it possible to just use a cloth and water to get things Germ FREE? Learn more here!

This is a slightly different type of cleaning. Rather than killing the germs you are completely removing them. The Norwex cloths are microfiber and pick up everything. I mean EVERYTHING! The particles/germs are held in the cloth until rinsed in hot water. Then just hang it or lay it flat to dry and within 24 hours the germs will have died off thanks to the microsilver embedded in the cloth, meaning no more stinky kitchen cloths!

It takes awhile to really trust the cloth but for the last year and a half, all I use after handling raw meat is this cloth and water. Never have had a case of salmonella in this house!

Before I used Norwex I used some all-purpose cleaner and I was terrible and never even read the exact instructions until I heard about Norwex and realized I was using it wrong! With the chemical cleaner I was supposed to spray, let it sit for 30 seconds, wipe off, and then wash with soap and water. First, that’s a lot of steps and takes awhile. Second, I wasn’t waiting the 30 seconds or washing with soap and water after. So basically I wasn’t killing all the bacteria AND I was leaving all the chemical on my counters to be transferred to my food. Yikes!Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

I use these clothes to wipe down my daughter’s high chair, the table, the counters, the stove,… the list goes on and on… because let’s face it, kids find a way to get jam on every surface within a 5 foot radius of them. How?!?!Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

There are multiple kinds of cloths from Norwex, one of which is like my best friend. I use this mesh cloth ALL THE TIME! This is my “sponge”. It’s great because the food gets trapped in the wadded cloth but when I open it up and run it under water the food falls right out. It’s also great for cleaning up flour after making bread or sugar cookies because I can rinse it right out instead of having the flour get caked onto an ordinary cloth.Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

Besides using Norwex cloths to keep my kitchen clean, I also use this sweet little vacuum. With kids, my house is FULL of crumbs. My mom sent this to me for Christmas and it is by far the most used gift I’ve ever received. I use this bad boy everyday, multiple times a day! I keep it right in my kitchen so I can quickly clean up a mess before someone tracks it around the whole house. It’s also great because my 3 year old can and LIKES to use it.Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

Besides cleaning just my kitchen, I’m able to use the Norwex cloths throughout my entire house.Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

Windows get incredibly disgusting with kids but I’m able to quickly wipe them down, streak free and without a chemical residue that would have been transferred to my children’s mouths and hands. I’ve given up at trying to get them to not touch the windows. At least I can get the windows clean!Learn how to save time and money cleaning your kitchen (chemical free!) so you have more time to cook and be with family.

I hate dusting but now I just get my daughter to do it! ha! Norwex has a dust mitt that fits over either hand (or you can get two and double time it!) and you just wipe away. My daughter thinks it’s pretty funny to wear but it gets her to dust for me!

We’ve got a granite counter in our bathroom and a lot of chemicals will ruin stone surfaces but I don’t have to worry about that at all with my water and cloth. One day I’ll also have granite counter tops and I’ll already be ready to clean it!

I want you to know how to keep your kitchen clean and chemical free!

I love that handheld vacuum! I was so excited when they came out with a lithium ion battery! Now I think everyone in our family has one! And I’m so excited to share Norwex with your readers! I love how much time and money it saves me. I always thought I had to use harsh chemicals to kill everything before. And like you said, I love getting my kids in on the action! My 4 and 8 year old can even mop my floors!

It’s the best little vacuum! And thanks for introducing me to Norwex! I don’t know how I’d keep up with all my kid’s messes (and my own!) without it. I can’t wait to get a mop. Carly would love using it!
