Whether you’re Christian or Jewish, this time of the year is always full of friends, family, and cheer! And how fun is it that the first night of Hanukkah is Christmas Eve this year?! If you have a multi religious family and are celebrating both holidays (Christmukkah) or you just want to get together with your friends of various faiths, I’ve got a super easy 30-Minute Teriyaki Meatballs Recipe and some ideas just for you!Party it up this holiday season and celebrate Chrismukkah with these simple, tender and juicy 30 Minute Teriyaki Meatballs!

First, you’ve got to get your decorations. Christmas decorations were are cinch since my house is already decked out in red, green, and lights and if yours isn’t every store has more than enough options. Hanukkah decorations were a different story. I have found that it is incredibly difficult to find Hanukkah decorations in Omaha. You might have to borrow from your Jewish guests or purchase some blue, white, and silver things. If you plan enough in advance Amazon is always a great option! I was really hoping to get an inexpensive little menorah but no luck so I printed and framed one and it was still pretty cute.Party it up this holiday season and celebrate Chrismukkah with these simple, tender and juicy 30 Minute Teriyaki Meatballs!

Teriyaki Meatballs

Prep Time15 minutes mins
Cook Time15 minutes mins
Total Time30 minutes mins
Servings: 42
Author: Garnish and Glaze

Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

  • 2 pounds ground round
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup Soy Vay® Veri Veri Teryiaki®
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 green onions

Instructions

For the Meatballs

  • Line a large baking sheet with foil and preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Mix all meatball ingredients together until combined. Portion into about 1 1/2 inch balls (I use a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop). You should get about 42 meat balls. Place on lined baking sheet and bake for 10-13 minutes

For the Sauce:

  • Place all sauce ingredients, except green onions, in a 4 quart pot. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, until it starts to thicken. Add the cooked meatballs and toss until coated.
  • Serve on a platter with toothpicks for and appetizer or over rice as a meal.
